Esther Yim
Director & AAM Platinum Instructor
Esther Yim is a dedicated mother of two and a passionate beauty professional whose journey was inspired by her mother’s salon and the transformative power of beauty. Choosing the hands-on world of beauty over traditional academia, she built a career rooted in both artistry and purpose.
In the permanent makeup industry, Esther serves as an AAM Platinum Instructor, Board Member, and Korean Ambassador. She’s also an SPCP Trainer Member, certified in Bloodborne Pathogens, and Chairperson of the Korean Permanent Makeup Artists of NY/NJ (KPMA NYNJ), where she leads with both expertise and compassion.
Her personal experience with eyebrow and lip tattoos deepened her understanding of how permanent makeup can simplify and empower everyday life, especially for busy mothers like herself.
As an educator, Esther focuses not only on technical mastery but also on building confidence in her students preparing them to uphold the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Beyond her professional achievements, Esther is driven by the desire to build a lasting legacy for her family. She founded Hudson Beauty Bar in 2018 and acquired Feminink Beauty in 2024, milestones that reflect her vision and dedication. She continues to inspire others to pursue their passions and create their own success stories.
Leyna Kang
Korean Lash Lift & AAM Platinum Instructor
Leyna has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, with expertise in nail instruction, permanent makeup, and advanced training shaped by specialized education in Korea. Now based in New Jersey, she is an AAM Platinum Instructor at Hudson Feminink Beauty, working side by side with Esther to uphold excellence in beauty education and client care.
She is also the lead Korean Lash Lift Instructor and Technician, specializing in natural permanent makeup and lash lift services that enhance each client’s natural beauty. In addition to serving clients, Leyna teaches aspiring artists at Hudson Feminink Beauty, where she shares her knowledge, passion, and commitment to high standards.
