Microblading? Powder Brows? Ombre Brows? Don’t know which one to choose from? We got you!
Before we get started, please remember that these are both permanent tattoos with two different techniques however the pigments are made so it will fade overtime.
Both microblading and ombre powder brows can last 1-3 years. However, we recommend getting touch-ups every year to keep your eyebrows looking fresh, as well as a color booster!
What Is Microblading And What Does It Do?
Microblading is a technique that mimics your eyebrows so it will give you that natural “hair” look. Microblading involves using a manual tool vs. the machine for powder/ombre brows, and the blade is used to create fine, hair-like strokes.
The advantage of microblading over traditional tattooing is that it can create a much more realistic and natural look.
However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading. The oiler skin you have, I would recommend powder brows.
The Benefits Of Microblading:
- Create a realistic and natural-looking hair strokes
- Customized to each individual
- Can last up to 2 years
What Is Ombre Powder Brows And What Does It Do?
Powder brows is a technique that is trending in our industry! This technique is done by using a machine and we create soft pixels which give you that soft makeup look.
Lots of people misunderstand when we say we use a machine because they think of the older generation and immediately assume that it will be that “sharpie” look, but it’s the complete opposite!
We can also add the ombre look which will gradually become darker towards the tails.
The Benefits Of Ombre Powder Brows:
- Create a soft powdery makeup look
- Lasts a little longer
- Has less trauma to the skin
Which Is Better?
For microblading, if you have dry/normal skin this would be a great choice for you! You will enjoy the nice hair strokes that blend in with your natural eyebrows.
Powder brows is also another amazing option and my personal favorite!
Whichever choice you choose, microblading and powder brows are both highly beneficial as you will wake up with makeup and can save so much time in the morning!
