MEET ESTHER
Esther Yim is not just a seasoned expert in the permanent makeup industry; she embodies the heart and soul of her profession. As a Platinum Instructor for the American Academy of Micropigmentation (AAM) and a Trainer Member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP), Esther has shaped the standards in her field. Her roles as an Board Member and Korean Ambassador of the AAM, and Chairperson of the Korean Permanent Makeup Artists of NY NJ showcase her influential leadership and commitment.
Beyond her impressive professional credentials, including over 25 certificates and a decade of experience, Esther is a lifelong student, always eager to learn and evolve in her craft. She owns and operates Hudson Beauty Bar and Feminink Beauty in Montclair, NJ, where she’s dedicated to providing top-tier permanent makeup services.
For Esther, permanent makeup is a personal passion. She cherishes the transformation it brings, offering both instant beauty enhancements and deeper, more personal gratifications. She revels in the joy of helping her clients discover their own unique kind of beautiful, making every interaction not just a procedure, but a personal journey of confidence and self-discovery.Esther also extends her passion internationally as a speaker, hosting regular seminars in South Korea focused on hygiene in permanent makeup. Through these seminars, she educates and inspires artists to uphold the highest standards, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of clients worldwide.

MEET ESTHER
Esther's journey into the beauty industry started as a child. While growing up, her mother, a business owner of two nail salons would bring Esther to work and open her eyes to the world of beauty and service.
After much soul-searching as a young adult about her future career path, Esther decided to go to Esthetics school, where she graduated from Christine Valmy in 2010. Shortly after, she pivoted to practicing permanent makeup and obtained her 100 hour fundamentals certification in 2013. A life-long learner, Esther regularly takes additional courses. She makes it her mission to take at least two courses annually because she wants to stay closely up to date with the rapidly changing trends of the beauty industry.
Esther is also a client of permanent makeup and experiencing how it simplified her morning routine first hand really motivated her to help other clients with the same needs. Especially for mothers, she understands how stressful it can be in the morning.
Not only does she help clients, but she also helps aspiring permanent make-up students get certified. Educating others has always been at the core of her passion to serve others.
